Primary Responsibilities

  • Receive orders/instructions and place trades from Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers;
  • Ensure pre-trade due diligence check;
  • Ensure trade orders are properly executed and proceeded including but not limited to proper suitability and credit limit check;
  • Work within the designated execution system trades as well as independent trades;
  • Good understanding of risk management by incorporating of hedging plan;
  • Ensure accuracy of capture to avoid incidents and dealing errors;
  • Maintain and keep up-to-date knowledge with regard to global trading fluctuations and market movement;
  • Understand clients’ financial objectives, structure and tolerance for risk;
  • Keep abreast with and develop deep understanding of RFO’s service offerings and able to communicate proficiently with clients on these matters if needed.

 


 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience as a trader within the banking or wealth management industry.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, both written and spoken.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong team player with a flexible mindset and solid interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
