Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage business transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on software implementation, system enhancements, and post-go-live optimization.
- Act as the primary initiative lead, working with minimal supervision from requirements gathering through delivery and stabilization.
- Partner with business functions (Operations, Finance, Compliance, HR, IT, etc.) to re-engineer processes, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, and work closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver solutions.
- Oversee project planning, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Drive change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training coordination, and adoption support.
- Provide guidance and direction to the Junior Business Analyst, including task delegation and review of deliverables.
- Support vendor evaluation, solution design discussions, UAT coordination, and implementation governance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in business transformation, initiative management, or project delivery.
- Proven experience delivering software/system implementations or major system enhancements.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, ideally within financial services operations (private banking, wealth management, asset management, or family office operations).
- Comfortable operating independently and leading initiatives with limited guidance in a growing organization.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, process-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, business users, and vendors.
- Hands-on and practical approach, able to balance strategic thinking with execution.
- Strong documentation skills (process maps, BRDs, functional specifications, SOPs).
- Exposure to systems such as CRM, portfolio management, OMS/PMS, HR systems, or workflow automation platforms.
- Experience applying Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement frameworks.
- Regional exposure working with stakeholders across Hong Kong and APAC.
