Primary Responsibilities
- Own the full trade lifecycle post-execution: capture, validation, confirmation, and reconciliation of OTC crypto derivatives
- Build and enhance internal tools for trade monitoring, reconciliation, and exception handling.
- Perform daily reconciliations of trades and positions with external counterparties; investigate and resolve breaks with traders and counterparties.
- Monitor credit limits, funding requirements, and margin/collateral across counterparties and exchanges.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation to reduce risk and manual touchpoints.
- Collaborate with trading, tech, and finance teams to ensure smooth post-trade operations and accurate PnL impact reporting.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in middle office or operations, ideally within crypto, OTC derivatives, or broader trading environments
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and post-trade processes for OTC derivatives
- Solid grasp of credit, margin, and collateral management
- Hands-on experience with trade reconciliation, break resolution, and position monitoring
- Proven track record of improving operational workflows and building or working with internal tools
- Familiarity with crypto market is a strong plus
- Proficiency with Excel; working knowledge of SQL or Python is a strong plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills under pressure
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced & evolving environment
- Fluent in English and Chinese (both written and spoken)
