We are currently seeking a Relationship Manager, based in Hong Kong.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop business plans and define market strategies, taking the lead in active acquisition and management of HNW/UHNW clients and driving sustainable, profitable growth in the corresponding market(s).
- Provide market insights, identify business opportunities, and take the lead in leveraging RFO’s resources to deliver bespoke services and creative solutions to clients.
- Report directly to management and collaborate with other senior stakeholders, the investment and support teams, business partners, and product/service teams to ensure the delivery of business strategy.
- Understand clients and their associates’ backgrounds, and drive the Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence as a first line of defense to meet related compliance and internal requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in relationship management within private banking/ wealth management space and/or for those with core relationships with UHNW/HNW;
- Solid track record in asset development, asset growth, asset management and revenue generation.
- Ability to develop and execute a strategic business plan with a clear growth vision.
- Extensive market connections and deep understanding of the market landscape, macroeconomy, regulatory environment and cultural nuances of the respective Asian market(s).
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent client servicing and problem-solving mentality, with ability to identify and agility to adapt to clients’ evolving needs.
- Fluency in one or more Asian languages relevant to the market(s), with strong proficiency in English highly preferred.
